Opening it the first time
The installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows or macOS may warn you the first time you open Latte Books. The release notes explain how to open it on each system.
Latte Books is in beta. If you are moving from Frappe Books, open a copy of your company file first. Files from Frappe Books v0.36.0 open as they are; a file last opened by an older version needs opening once in v0.36.0 first. More on moving from Frappe Books.
System requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit (x64)
- macOS on Apple silicon
- Linux on x86_64, as an AppImage or a .deb package for Debian and Ubuntu
- A GPU. Virtual machines and Remote Desktop are untested.
Build it from source
You need rustup and a GPU.
